Getting Through the Holidays During Divorce

12-5 New Traditions.png

I hope everyone is safe and healthy during this holiday season. As we bring this challenging year to an end, I wish to personally offer my gratitude to those who have reached out with help during my cancer journey this year. I am incredibly grateful for the kindness and blessings bestowed upon me and my family through it all. This is what truly makes a community worth being a part of and I greatly appreciate everyone who has responded for your kindness.  I am thankful that you are a part of our community here.

"Families don't have to match.  You don't have to look like someone else to love them." ~ Leigh Anne Tuohy

This year the holidays will be different than past years for most families. The worldwide pandemic has many of us separated and unable to be together as we planned whether with our extended family or through agreed upon parenting plans. Keeping this in mind and giving each other space and grace during these difficult times can go a long way to fostering good relations with your ex and their family going into the new year.

"All families are different and unique but they all have one thing in common - love." ~ Unknown

May the New Year be filled with more resiliency, compassion and purpose than we ever imagined possible.

Warmest wishes to you and yours for a safe and happy holiday season.
